I have been hard at work getting everything ready for you guys. I am really looking forward to the new school year, but I did have a wonderful summer. I spent much of it swimming and relaxing poolside, but I also became addicted to the computer game Civilization IV. And even though I did not travel farther than Columbia, MO this year, I did have a great time.
So, now I want to ask you - What did you do this summer? What was something amazing that you saw or experienced? Did you go to a faraway land? Or witness something amazing in your own backyard? Tell me about it.

What did you do on the computer?
I went to Pensacola, Florida. We went to the beach and we found a sanddollar! I caught a baby crab but we had to let it go. We saw the sand-sculpture competition on the beach. They were very good. The ocean was calm every day! We still saw damage from hurricane Ivan.

Ms. Smith, I went to 3 summer camps; spanish camp, boy scout camp, and was a helper at Cub Scout Day Camp. What is civilization IV like? I wish I had it... it's probably really cool.
I also got some new games, and had to "try them out" heeheehee...
So far I realy like you and Ms.Carlson. What I did on summer vacation is I went on a cruise it was called the Sun Princess. It was one of the best of 5 cruises so far. I also got a new paintball gun called a spider piolet and now I go paintballing almost every weekend. Well I got alot of diseases already but I got a new one called ITP its a simptom of bonemarrow caner so I had to get a bonemarrow transplant. Well thats my summer.

Over the summer I joined a bowling league so I went bowling almost all summer My family and I also went to the lake of the Ozarks. We have three boats so we went to the lake of the Ozarks alot.That is all I did this summer. I had a lot of fun.
i went to cozmel mexico! And it was a lot of fun and my mom and dad did not go just my uncle my grandma and my 4 cousins!! I did diving camp and went to white clef a lot, went to baseball games, and to six flags like every day!!! I went to dallas texas too! And mami o.k.!!
ok hi! my summer was ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ because I went 2 the mall almost everyday with Kendra.Kendra and I hung out almost everyday untill she went keneoning.I also got a new laptop.

I went to branson,Mo. I had a great time we stayed at the point royale resorts. Which is the best place to stay there or that's at least what they say. But it was very expensive three hundred and fifty dollars a night. The condo we stayed in was beautiful. In resort area there was a tennis court 3 resturants. Two swimming pools a playgroung and some other stuff. We got a free dinner because when we got there they didn't have our condo ready. But most of the stuff at the resturant was like crocodile hands and tongue. Oysters and alot of other disqusting things. We decided to go to one of the other resturants and we got a pizza. I went on Ride the ducks. Which is a bus thingy shaped liked a duck. It takes you around the wholem city and then it goes into the water. I even got to drive the boat. I'm suprised I didn't get sea sick. We went to the Ripley's Believe it or Not building it looks really really weird. We also went to this pace called Peace Frogs. Where you drive Go-karts. They have this huge one called wildfire.It wa really high. The only other thing we did was shop till we dropped. We went there with 6,156 thousand dollars shopping money and came back with three hundred dollars. Well I had a good time I plan to go backthis winter
I didn't go anywhere this summer but, i did play baseball with the other kids in the neborhood. i have gotten better at swinging the ball. i had a lot of fun.
I went to newyork and played baseball. In newyork i went to the hall of fame. we were in coperstown, newyork.
I went Chicago,Ill this summer for a month to visit my grandma and to work at my aunt beauty shop for a whole month. it was fun though
this summer i got a new kitten. his name is max
I went to a beach some where in the golf of mexico and i swam this summer. We also went down to table rock lake with some of my friends.
this summer i did a lot of things but manley i went to camp. My longest camp was a two week camp. i also went swimming every day of the summer for an hour for my swim team that i do every year. i went swimming and tubing at the lake i played with friends and just stuff like that.
I went to Tortolia. It's a island in the british virgin islands. I saw sea turtles, and a lot of sting rays.My dad dropped a hamburger in the ocean on accident.It was really fun. We were in Puerto rico for 7 hours.

I went swimming most summer days since my freind has a pool down the street. Then I went to arkansas over one of the last weekends with my freind and we stayed with her parents freind's boat house. It was so fun especially when we went tubbing and kneeboarding. When I went tubbing I got a rug burn on my arm and then I sliced it open when I went kneeboarding it hurt, but it was worth it. The other days I just played sims 2.
this summer i went to austin texas, moline ilinois and branson missouri. i absolutely love airplanes. that is always my favorite part of vacation!:-)i love to travel!!!!
I didnt do much...I went to the LAke of the Ozarks twice. The bad part was that I got in a car accident and It really messed up my back. I also took a class and became a certified babysitter.I'm happy, but the person I wanted to babysit for doesnt need me much. so yeah, thats pretty much all I can think of.

I didnt travel very far this summer.I went to Branson to see one of my best friends, Nikki. She lives right on the lake, so we went boating a lot. We also rode her wave runner. it was really fun.I also went to the pool a lot. I spent a lot of time with my friends too. Also, I went to Illinos to see my family, I also went there to help with my family restaurant.
I went to Orlando,Florida. My family and I went to a lot of different amusment parks. My favorite one was Universal Studios. The coolest ride that we went on was Fire and Ice roller coaster.It was so cool. Also I went to Daytona Beach. That is in Florida too. It was a really fun vacation.
i went to pinsacola florda abd saw jake there and it was fun then i came back and got second in the leage :) in BASE BALL and swam and played football
I spent a week with my cousin from a diffrent state. Played with friends and swam. I also had my birthday party. I also went to band camp. That would be it.

all of the awesome things i did was hang out with my friends, go to my grandmas house, had a great 4th of JULY at my grandparents house, rode the motor scooter,and went camping a couple times. it so much that I cant even tell you all of it. thats all

in the beginning of the summer i went to new york and stayed with some of my parents friends in new jersey. we drove so it took about 10-12 hours. then i went to boston then niagra falls. the rest of the summer i slept in and didn't do much.
this summer i went to treasure is. florida.I swam in the ocean and went to a festival that they had.And I got cut by a hermmit crab.
i went to minnisota to go to the mall of america.i also went to chicago to see my grandpa.

This summer I only went to Six Flags. The only other thing I did was read, sleep, and watch tv.
This summer, I went to Philmont, New Mexico with a friend. It's a scout camp, but my friends dad teaches courses there. We went horseback riding, did archery,went hiking in mountains, and went on an "overnighter" where we camped out with other girls.

this summer i went to branson. we went to sliver dollar city with my family. we also went to illinois for 2 days so thats all the fun stuff i did. the rest of the summer i moved from the city to granwood village! o yea i also went to six flags the wed.before school started. so thats the highlights of my summer !
This summer I went to Gulf Shores, Alabama. I had so much fun going swimming there. I also started skating for this season on a team at Kennedy Rec Plex. And I passed into a higher level. I also did a lot of swimming. And my l ittle cousins came to visit us from Pennsylvania. I also hung out and layed around alot too. I had a great summer.

Hi! The first time I went to florida this summer I went to disney world for about five days. We stayed in Disney world. The second time I went to Florida I went to Daytona Beach for a week. THiS SAM UR FAVORiT STUDENT!! i LOVE YOUR CLASS i USHLY HATE ENGLiSH BUT YOU MAKE FUNNER THAN USUWAL.. WAT i DID OVEER THE SUMMER? UMM WEELL I WENT TO FLORIDA FOR 2 WEEKS DISNEY WORLD FOR LIKE 5DAYS WE CUT IT SHORT CUZ WE GOT KINDA BORED WITH IT.. SO WE WENT TO UNIVERSAL STUDIES OHS AND THEN THE BEACH THE ONLEY BAD THING IS WE SPENT ALOT OF TIME IN A CAR CUZ WE DROVE THERE 13 HOURS CRAZZY I KNO!! YAH AND WE WANTED TO GO TO LIKE SOUTH BEACH AT THIS CERTAIN AREA AND THE FLORIDA KEYS SO FIRST WE TRIED TO FIND SOUTH BEACH NO LUCK ALL DAY OF DRIVING AROUND AND FINALLY WE GOT A HOTAL THAT NIGHT AND WOKE UP EARLEY IN THE MORING AND STARTED LOOOKING AGAIN... WE FINALLY FOUND IT IT WAS AWSOME THE WATER WAS LIKE AQUA ON THE BEACH YOU COULD ACULLY SEE THE SEA SHELLS UNDER WATER THE WAVES WERENT THAT FUNN THO.. AND WE STAYED THERE 3DAYS AND WALKED ON THE LIKE STRIP ITS LIKE A MALL OUTSIDE IT WAS FUNN! SO AFTER THAT WE DECIDE TO GO TO THE FLORIDA KEYS WE STAYED THERE ONE NIGHT IT WASNT THAT FUN IT WAS LIKE A LIL TOWN WITH A WHOLE BUNCH OF CLUBS NOT A PLACE FOR A 12 AND 6 YEAR OLD.. SO WE HEADED FOR JACKSON VILL THE CAPITAL OF FLORDA WE DIDNT REALY SEE ANY THING THAT GREAT SO WE WERE JUST ABOUT TO END OUR VACTION BUT A IDEA POPED IN TO MY MOM AND DADS HEAD LETS GO TO MURTLE BEACH IN SOUTHG CAROLINE WHEN OUR WAY THERE WE SAAWW COCA BEACH AND MY DAD ALWAYS WANTED TO GO THERE SO WE STAYED IT WASS SOOOO FUNN!! I went to sixflags for my birthday with my dad and brother.I also went to Meremac Cavrens and went canooing there.
my cousins came down from new jersey and my aunt and uncle came up from texas.
hey i went on lots of vacations and been to lots of states some of the states are branson, illinois, kentucky, tennessee, mississippi, texas, louisiana, oklahoma, kansas, utah. ya theres a lot of states ive been to this summer. we went to lake kasgaskia almost every weekend because we have a boat. we go skiing all the time. i can wakeboard, slalom, surf, double ski, and tube on my boat. I HAD A REALLY FUN SUMMER!!! um... i played w/ friends, played on the computer, went to the pool, and went to lots of parties!! well write bac.

This summer I went to the ozarks and learned to jump the wake on a single ski. A week after we got out of school I to Minnisota. My dad,brother and me and my friend and my brothers friend and my dads friend and his wife all coute about 150 fish each. I also cut grass and made about 700$. Thats what I did this summer.
